#025 Pikachu
Electric type.
Met in Pallet Town.
Jolly nature.
Highly curious.

Ability: Static - Physical contact with Pikachu may cause paralysis.
Held Item: Light Ball - Doubles Pikachu's Attack and Special Attack power.
Moves:
Volt Tackle - Pikachu electrifies himself and charges the target. This also damages Pikachu quite a lot and may inflict paralysis on the target.
Quick Attack - Pikachu lunges at the target at a speed that makes him almost invisible. This move always goes first.
Light Screen - Creates a wall of light that reduces the party's damage from Special Attacks (or magical attacks) for five turns.
Nuzzle - Pikachu attacks by nuzzling his electrified cheeks against the target. This move is guaranteed to inflict paralysis.



#003 Venusaur
Grass/Poison type.
Met in Cerulean City.
Quiet nature.
Strong willed.

Ability: Chlorophyll - Doubles Venusaur's speed in harsh sunlight.
Post-Mega Ability: Thick Fat - Fire and ice-based attacks only deal half the damage.
Held Item: Venusaurite - A spherical stone that allows Venusaur to Mega Evolve.
Moves:
Synthesis - Venusaur restores some of his health by absorbing light. Restores a greater amount during harsh sunlight.
Substitute - Venusaur creates a decoy using a quarter of his health. The decoy will break once it takes too much damage.
Sludge Bomb - Venusaur attacks by hurling filthy sludge at his target. This may also poison the target.
Giga Drain - A nutrient-draining attack that allows Venusaur to absorb half the damage inflicted to restore his own HP.



#006 Charizard
Fire/Flying type.
Met on Route 24.
Bold nature.
Likes to fight.

Ability: Blaze - Increases the power of Charizard's Fire-type attacks when greatly injured.
Post-Mega Ability: Tough Claws - Increases the power of moves that make physical contact.
Held Item: - Charizardite X - A spherical stone that allows Charizard to Mega Evolve into his X form.
Moves:
Dragon Rush - Charizard tackles the target while exhibiting overwhelming menace. This may also make the target flinch.
Flare Blitz - Charizard cloaks himself in fire and charges the target. This also damages Charizard quite a lot and may leave the target with a burn.
Dragon Dance - Charizard performs a mystic, powerful dance that raises his Attack and Speed.
Rock Slide - Charizard hurls large boulders at the target to inflict damage. This also may make the target flinch.



#009 Blastoise
Water type.
Met in Vermillion City.
Serious nature.
Sturdy body.

Ability: Rain Dish - During rainy weather, Blastoise restores a little bit of health at the end of each turn.
Post-Mega Ability: Mega Launcher - Increases the power of aura and pulse moves.
Held Item: Blastoisinite - A spherical stone that allows Blastoise to Mega Evolve.
Moves:
Water Pulse - Blastoise attacks the target with a pulsing blast of water. This may also confuse the target.
Aura Sphere - Blastoise lets loose a blast of aura power from deep within his body at the target. This attack never misses.
Dark Pulse - Blastoise releases a horrible aura imbued with dark thoughts. This may also make the target flinch.
Dragon Pulse - Blastoise attacks the target with a shock wave generated by his gaping mouth.



#131 Lapras
Water/Ice type.
Met in Saffron City.
Sassy nature.
Thoroughly cunning.

Ability: Water Absorb - Lapras restores some HP when hit by a water-based attack and takes no damage from it.
Held Item: Psychium Z - A pink diamond-shaped crystal that changes Lapras's Psychic move into Shattered Psyche when its power is activated. This can only be done once per battle.
Moves:
Blizzard - Lapras summons a howling blizzard to strike all opponents. This may also leave the target(s) frozen.
Hydro Pump - Lapras blasts the target with a huge volume of water under great pressure.
Psychic - Lapras hits the target with a strong telekinetic force. This may also lower the target's Special Defense (or magical defense).
Z-Move: Shattered Psyche - Lapras controls the target with her Z-Power and hurls the target at full force.
Ice Shard - Lapras flash-freezes chunks of ice and hurls them at the target. This move always goes first.



#143 Snorlax
Normal type.
Met on Route 12.
Relaxed nature.
Proud of its power.

Ability: Thick Fat - Fire and ice-based attacks only deal half the damage.
Held Item: Life Orb - A purple sphere that boosts the power of Snorlax's moves but at the cost of some health on each hit.
Moves:
Double-Edge - A reckless, life-risking tackle in which Snorlax rushes the target. This also damages Snorlax quite a lot.
Earthquake - Snorlax sets off an earthquake that damages everyone around it.
Crunch - Snorlax crunches up the target with sharp fangs. This may also lower the target's Defense.
Protect - This move enables Snorlax to protect himself from all attacks. Its chance of failing rises if used in succession.
