APPEARANCE AND BODY PERCEPTION
Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Red is 5'0" with a mostly thin build, though he's been gradually getting more lean throughout his adventures thanks to being active.

How old is he?
14.

Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well, or does he slouch?
He carries himself pretty well.

How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He's in the best shape he could possibly be in at his age. It's extremely rare for him to get sick, though when he does, his average recovery time ranges from about three to five days. No diseases or disabilities, either.

How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Fluid.

How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Red is mostly attractive in a cute way, being so short and young, though girls around his age or younger tend to find him very handsome. He has a rather neutral opinion towards his own appearance; Red isn't really concerned about being eye candy anyway.

Describe his complexion: dark, light, clear, scarred?
Light complexion with numerous small scars on his back and torso area from falling and being tossed around throughout his journey.

Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Thin, soft black hair.

What color are his eyes?
Red.

Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Nope.

What are his chief tension centers?
His back, shoulders, and hands.

What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
His default outfit forever.

Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
Yes and yes.

Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
Yes.

You knew it was coming: what kind of underwear does he wear, if any?
Boxers.

SPEECH
What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Medium-low pitch, though it will get deeper once he reaches that stage of puberty.

How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He tends to speak quietly and only raises his voice when he's giving out orders to his Pokémon or really pissed off, which is not an easy feat to accomplish. He's not really a fan of hearing his own voice, though, so he speaks in as few words as possible; or none at all.

Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Nope.

What language(s) does he speak and with how much fluency?
Japanese only.

Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Nope.

Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He usually has to think about what he wants to say.

Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Rather inarticulate, since he has a pretty limited vocabulary thanks to having only an elementary school education.

EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL
How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
He is absolutely 100% street-smart.  Red learns best through actual experience, not by picking up a book and reading about it or sitting in a classroom.  His grades in school weren't too great because of this.  He's also good at solving gym/dungeon puzzles and if he's interested enough in a subject, he tends to pick it up pretty quickly.

Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
He thinks on his feet.

Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Some weird combination of intuitive and idealistic.

What kind of education has the character had?
Only up to elementary school, and he has no intention of ever going back to school, either.

What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Pokémon that live in the Kanto and Johto regions, Pokémon battling, survival techniques, and cooking simple meals and Pokémon food. One day he'd like to learn about Pokémon from other regions.

Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Introvert.

Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered, or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholic? Laid-back or driven?
He's usually pretty laidback, though he can very easily get into serious business mode when shit goes down. However, since Red has resting bitch face, people who don't know him well often misinterpret him as being annoyed or upset even when he's not.

How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
He tends to be more on the suspicious side when dealing with unfamiliar people/situations, but he'll slowly become more relaxed if things go smoothly.  If not, then he'll do whatever he can to GTFO.

Is he more likely to act or to react?
Act.

Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight.

Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Red doesn't laugh very easily, but he can at least appreciate a nice wholesome joke, clever pun or harmless prank (though he wouldn't participate in one himself -- unless the victim is Green).  Dark humor is pretty hit-or-miss with him.  He doesn't like dirty humor at all, and pranks that are malicious or have the potential to seriously hurt someone are big no-nos.

Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If so, how does he deal with them?
Nope.

What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
The start of his Pokémon journey, taking on Team Rocket, becoming the Champion, and his decision to live in Mt. Silver.

What does he fear?
That he may one day lose his Pokémon, whether they die or are stolen or whatever.

What are his hopes or aspirations?
That the hype surrounding him will die down enough that he'll be able to go back out into the world again without people bombarding him constantly.

What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
That he's in Mt. Silver.

RELATIONSHIPS
Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
He had a pretty close relationship with his mom before he left home, though he no longer keeps in touch with her, not because she did anything wrong but because Red just sucks at staying in contact with people. He also used to be close with his dad, but he left them a few years before Red began his journey and hasn't contacted either of them since. Strangely enough though, Red doesn't hold a grudge towards him. He doesn't really think about his dad at all anymore.

Does the character have any siblings? What is their relationship like?
Nope.

Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Nope.

Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
His Pokémon, Professor Oak, Daisy, Green, and to some extent the Nurse Joy that runs the Pokémon Center by Mt. Silver. His Pokémon have been his only companions for the past three years, so that's pretty self explanatory. He used to live next door to Daisy and Green, and Professor Oak is their grandfather, so naturally Red and his mom spent a great amount of time with them and even celebrated holidays with them. The Nurse Joy in Mt. Silver generously provides him with food and supplies whenever he comes in, fusses over him like his own mother used to, and is his only source of human interaction now, so Red can't help but feel a connection there.

Who is the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Green. Or at least he used to be? Red isn't really sure where they stand anymore. They've known each other since they were babies, and as mentioned above, were next door neighbors whose families were and still are very closely knit. In fact, Green is the only friend Red had throughout his childhood, since Pallet Town is so tiny and didn't have any other kids his age.

They always had a tendency to compete with each other over almost anything, but over the years it had become less and less friendly, until Green essentially turned into a bully and stopped playing with him entirely. Red wasn't very happy about this development, but it only served to fuel his competitive spirit even more. Knowing that Green was planning on embarking on a Pokémon journey one day, Red became interested in Pokémon as well and started his own journey on the same day as Green so he could prove to him that he would become the better trainer. It was also a weird attempt to keep their friendship alive, since despite the way Green had been treating him lately, he was still Red's only friend and he knew Pallet Town would be boring without him anyway.

Despite his initial intentions, however, it didn't take long before Red grew attached to his Pokémon and saw them as his friends as well; friends who actually didn't treat him like shit. Thus, he gradually became more distant from Green as they clashed with each other throughout their journey, Red beat him at the Pokémon League, Green was buttdevastated about it, and that was the last time they ever saw each other. Red does occasionally wonder how Green is doing and what he's up to nowadays, and he'd like it if their relationship ever went back to how it was when they were younger, but he doesn't think that's possible anymore.

Does he have other close friends?
Not really. Despite meeting many cool people during his travels, he doesn't stay in touch with any of them.

Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
Somewhere in between? He doesn't go out of his way to interact with people except to gather information, challenge them to a battle, or if they obviously need help. Even if he does get along well enough with someone to elevate them to friend status, again, he's horrible at staying in touch so that kind of ruins it.

Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Both are equally important.

Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single.

Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nope.

Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?

What does he look for in a romantic partner?

Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If so, how does he relate to them? If not, does he want any?
No and maybe?

Does he have any rivals or enemies?
GEE, I WONDER WHO.

What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey Scale?

How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
Gross.

What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
None that he's aware of.

BELIEFS
Do you know your character's astrological sign? How well does he fit the type?
N/A

Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Well, ghosts do exist in the Pokémon world and he even fought the ghost of a Marowak to put its soul to rest, so he's spiritual to some extent.  Since he knows for sure that ghosts and the afterlife exist, he does believe that God exists too, but he doesn't concern himself with following any specific religion.  He knows he's a good person, so he believes God can see that too and will reward him in the afterlife when his time comes.

Does this character have a personal code of ethics or morals? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Protecting innocent Pokémon and people from harm takes priority above all else, including his own well-being.  He normally respects rules and laws as much as he can, but once they get in the way of someone else's safety, he'll disregard them completely.  Despite his typically aloof demeanor, Red is a bleeding heart who can easily sympathize with the pain of others and can't stand to see anyone getting abused, bullied, or hurt in general.  He's held these beliefs for his entire life, and he'll never compromise them.

How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Pretty intolerant if those beliefs directly violate his personal moral code, but curious otherwise.

What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational, or does he have a good reason for them?
Team Rocket is trash and they should stay in the trash where they belong. He's seen firsthand the kind of pain they've inflicted on Pokémon and people alike, so fuck 'em all.

DAILY LIFE
What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Comfortable.

What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
He went from being a nobody to a trainer, a hero, a Champion, and then an Ex-Champion. He initially became famous for being the crazy eleven-year-old that was singlehandedly responsible for the disbandment of Team Rocket, and then officially hit celebrity status when he became the crazy eleven-year-old that became the Pokémon League Champion, dethroning the previous one (Green) after just a few hours. The fame and glory and constant attention from random people got old pretty quickly, and so after earning eight more badges in Johto, he earned the right to enter Mt. Silver and decided to live in there to get away from it all, since it's not a place 99% of people can get into.
Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
He lives on a freaking mountain with all the other wild Pokémon that inhabit it.

Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Nothing, really.

What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He's a Pokémon Trainer and would never even dream of doing anything else.

What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Pokémon and training, not just his Pokémon but himself as well. Since he started living in Mt. Silver, he's taken a liking to jogging around the mountain, lifting small boulders, climbing the mountain, wrestling with his Charizard, whatever he can do to not only get stronger but keep himself entertained.

What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Red actually eats a pretty balanced diet, which he's still able to keep up today thanks to Nurse Joy.  He can cook simple meals on his own with a campfire, a pot, and water when necessary.  However, he does have a bad habit of skipping meals when he's too focused on training.
